Post Hello all
1. In game name (login name should be the same): Rashiky

2. RL First Name (optional): Ian

3. RL Age (optional): 19

4. Email address where we can reach you (yeah, it has to be valid): Natd_8@sbcglobal.net

5. Timezone you play in/Frequency of play: Central Standard Time, whenever I have enough time

6. What or Who brought you to DARK? You watched us on the battlefield? You spoke to a member? Let us know. Spoke with Malign

7. Anything you'd like to tell us? My schedule is really eratic, i work at AMC which is a movie theater, they call me in or schedule me for just about every weekend primetime to midnight or later, sometimes through the week, I can't promise I'll be available everyday at primetime since this is when AMC sells the most tickets and needs grunts like myself.

Having computer problems, more precisely activating windows, now all I've got is a blue box, and it says my product key is invalid, so I may be out for a bit.

If you installed new hardware, all you have to do is call the number they provide and the CS people will give you a new number over the phone.

sigh... after i got windows working for a day, my graphics card decides to poop out, and if you've noticed me logging in and then shortly after, stop responding in PS, this is because anything that requires hardware acceleration and shading crashes my comp. I have an ATI Radeon 9800pro, so its time I upgraded anyway, gonna be getting two nvidia 7900gt's and putting them on SLI.

Planetside doesn't support SLI. You'll find you'll have to turn off SLI when playing Planetside. Forceware 90 series are doing some tests on DirectX 8 and SLI.

A 7900 GTX would be better. They also run much cooler and can be overclocked to exceed 2 x 7900 GT. My 7900 GTX full out run at 41C. 7900 GT full out tend to hit over 60C. They have to memory coolers and a small fan.

Well my power supply unit which is 20 pins doesn't match my mobo which needs 24 pins... so i'm ordering a new PSU now. This is my first attempt at building a computer from scratch, I never thought it could be so complicated...
